Per the story, "The theater was packed and the crowd cheered loudly for Chris as he took his bow at the end of the show. And who could blame them? We definitely enjoyed seeing Chris dressed up in hottie suits on stage. The entire cast joined the young theater patrons at an private event after the show, and RadarOnline.com spotted Chris chatting with lots of excited fans."

(CHRISPINE.ORG) - Just wanted to send a reminder that Chris Pine started his debut this evening in a show called Farragut North which plays at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles from June 16 through July 26.  Per Tyler of the Geffen Playhouse, "He has a scene in his underwear." 

In the mist of a presidential race, young press secretary Stephen (Chris Pine) is convinced his team can get their presidential candidate a seat in the oval office.  Stephen's confidence is shattered when he becomes prey to a young intern, shadey politics, and manipulative veteran operatives.  Farragut North is a story of loyalty, hubris, and the lust for power.  Tickets and further details are available at the Geffen Playhouse website. 

(CHRISPINE.ORG) - Patrick Stewart, who played Captain Jean-Luc Picard in "Star Trek: The Next Generation," recently took his grandchildren to see Star Trek.  

Regarding Chris Pine, the British tabloid the Daily Express quotes Patrick Stewart as saying, "brilliant, charming, truthful, funny and utterly delightful."

As for Star Trek, the weekend estimates are at $5.6 million putting it at $232 million domestic making it #61 on the all-time domestic list. After international number are released, at this tme Star Trek sould be around $350 million in global sales. 

Interestingly, the surprise animated hit "Up" will likely surpass Star Trek as #1 movie of 2009 in less than two weeks from now.

Chris Pine hasn't been captured by the paparazzi for nearly 2 weeks.

 When asked if his clothes awere slime-proof, Pine responded, "Yes, I have an invisible plastic coating on." 

When asked if he has any official website, Facebook, or MySpace Chris said, "Nope, and no Facebook or MySpace either. Just real people."

(CHRISPINE.ORG) - The Star Trek cast joins the director for a promotional photo shoot for Paramount Pictures.  Included in the photos are Chris Pine (Captain Kirk), Zachary Quinto (Spock), JJ Abrams (director), Zoe Saldana (Uhura), and John Cho (Sulu).

Did you know that Chris Pine almost declined his role in Star Trek to work with George Clooney?  

"This one week I had the opportunity to work with Clooney, in this movie, ‘White Jazz,’ which was the sequel to ‘LA Confidential,’ ” said Pine.  "On top of the fact, once I met J.J. [Abrams] it was kind of a done deal."  

(CHRISPINE.ORG) - Here we have photos of the April 28 Star Trek premiere party in Los Angeles.  Chris Pine is shown with wacky poses with a backdrop of the Star Trek enterprise and some cute stun gun props and glasses.  

In related news, some of the Star Trek cast attended the June 3 premiere in Mexico for the official June 5 release.  In attendance was Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana and director JJ Abrams.  The release in Mexico was delayed due to the Swine Flu outbreak in late April.

(CHRISPINE.ORG) - Here's a photo of Chris Pine from May 7, just a day before Star Trek was officially released.  Pine is seen in a blue collar button down shirt, jeans, blue vans with ice coffee in hand.  

Evidently, Pine may not have known how big Star Trek would become.  

Star Trek continued its march of dominance as the best selling film of 2009 thus far raking in $8.3 million more last weekend.  So far, the total is $222 million in domestic sales alone. 

(CHRISPINE.ORG) - In this photo shoot, Chris Pine wears a blue henley as he's photographed by Cliff Watts in natural lighting to bring about a calming affect to his imagery.  

In related news, the 10th annual Golden Trailer Awards were held last Thursday at the DGA theater in Los Angeles where "Star Trek" was named best in show taking the Summer 2009 Blockbuster Awards. 

There were nominees named in 61 categories, only 16 awards were handed out at the event.

(CHRISPINE.ORG) - The Los Angeles times reported that Chris Pine was in attendance at the play, "Oleanna" at the Mark Taper Forum which featured both Bill Pullman and Julia Stiles.

Also in attendance were other Hollywood actors including Rose McGowan, Virginia Madsen, and Jennifer Gray. 

Chris Pine is likely getting a better feel for theater in his research for when he starts in "Farragut North" on June 16 at the Geffen Playhouse. 

(CHRISPINE.ORG) - In a world of oversized baggage, switching railways, and wrestless pasengers a young Train Conductor emerges to set order.  Chris Pine is in final negotations to portray a young train conductor set to replace a soon to be laid off experienced train engineer.

Doesn't sound as exciting as commanding a ship from Star Fleet, but bear with me, this could be a great career move. The elder freight conductor will be portrayed by Academy Award Winner Denzel Washington.

Both will be in a fight against time to save a city from a half mile runaway freight train filled with cumbustable liquids and poisonous gas.  

(CHRISPINE.ORG) - Audrina may have wings, but apparently her relationship with Chris Pine may have been grounded before takeoff. 

After continually being hounded by the media regarding their relationship, apparently Pine is rumored to have dumped Audrina Patridge.  Patridge, a "The Hills" cast member, was photographed having dinner with Pine last month.

US Weekly Magazine quoted a source saying, "Chris got freaked out by all the attention and pulled away."  Furthermore, "He's a shy guy and doesn't want to be in the spotlight."

(CHRISPINE.ORG) - Screen captures have been added of Chris Pine at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.  Pine joined Anna Faris on stage to present the first award of the evening.

Access Hollywood broke a story this weekend that Chris Pine and Audrina Patridge were arranged to sit together at the MTV Movie Awards according to the seating chart. During the MTV Movie Awards, Audrina was spotted sitting next to Whitney and other Hills cast members with no sign of Chris Pine nearby.   

"I’m single and I’m just here to have fun," answered Audrina when asked about her relationship with Chris Pine post awards show.  She continued, "I had no idea he was sitting there." 

(CHRISPINE.ORG) - We present press photos of Chris Pine and Anna Faris on stage at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.  Pine and Faris were the first ones on stage at the beginning of the show to present the award for Best Breakthrough Performance - Female.  The winner being Ashley Tisdale for her role in High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

As usual, MTV did mock ups of various films throughout the year such as Twilight, Slumdog Millionaire and even two separate mock skits that included Star Trek.

In the audience, Zach Quinto had a closeup shot when he reacted in disbelief after a stunt landed the bare ass of Bruno (Sacha Baron Cohen) in Rapper Eminem's face.  Overall, it nothing short of an entertaining evening, MTV style.
