(CHRISPINE.ORG) - You'd think it were the Beatle invasion but it was far more geekier - it was the Trekker invasion on April 30th as fans descend upon Hollywood from bowels of their parent's basements.
It was still hours before the Star Trek film (Star Trek XI) movie premier in Los Angeles yet the movie was already making waves across Hollywood - but not in a good way. Traffic reporters for KNX News Radio 1070 in Los Angeles reported that freeway traffic in and around that area was "Absolutely Horrible" citing "a movie premiere" as the culprit.
Apparently, all lanes were closed on Hollywood Blvd. between Highland Ave. and LaBrea Blvd. as fans poured in for perhaps just a glimpse of Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto and other featured stars and Hollywood guests.
