(CHRISPINE.ORG) - Chris Pine may have found himself in an unexpected role - portraying the boyfriend of Audrina Patridge in the popular reality MTV series, The Hills. As speculation spreads like wildfire, more affirmation about a possibile relationship has arisen.

Apparently, Lauren Conrad has given her blessings. "He is a really cute guy, and I'm happy for her," told lead character of The Hills, Lauren Conrad to US Magazine when asked if the pair made a cute couple.

Word on the street has it that Audrina and Chris Pine have been dating over the past month after meeting at the Sho West event in Las Vegas. Since The Hills is a reality based show, it would only make sense for Chris Pine to take over Justin Bobby's spot as Audrina Patridge's new love interest.

Isn't he free to date whoever he'd like? Yes I would LOVE to take over her spot, but if he chooses to date her, that's his thing. I think she's beautiful. All of the cast members of the Hills have stated they're only on it to get their names out there for other careers they are pursuing.
