(CHRISPINE.ORG) - Early June, it was reported that Chris Pine was in negotiations to portray a train conductor along with Denzel Washington in a plot to stop an unstoppable train loaded full of toxins destined to level a city.
According to Variety, it's been reported that Washington has withdrawn negotiations to take part in the film. Fox was showing budget concerns and with Denzel costing around $20 million per film, the studios were talking about cutting back on expenses.
The film proposal apparently had poor timing with the Washington and John Travolta collaboration in "The Taking on Pelham 1 2 3" earning a paltry $53 million domestically after a $100 million budget.
