Star Trek Premieres in Japan

E-mail Print PDF

star trek japan premiere(CHRISPINE.ORG) - Star Trek made it's debut in Tokyo, Japan at the May 12 premiere.  The Japanese really know how to party. Apparently, they lowered a large model of the Enterprise right into the theater at Shinjuku Milano One.

In attendance were Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban and John Cho joined by executive producer Bryan Burke and director J.J. Abrams.

The new Star Trek reboot hopes to make inroads for a Star Trek franchise that has historically done poorly on the International markets.
