Chris Pine Phones Into Comic-Con International 2009

Comic-Con International(CHRISPINE.ORG) - Chris Pine made a phone appearance around noon on the first day of the Comic-Con. Apparently, he phoned into the director at the panel for "Quantum Quest," a 3D CGI animation combined with space sequences and imagry from NASA.

Chris Pine spoke to co-director Dr. Harry Kloor who put his mobile phone close to the microphone to address the audience and promote the animated feature.

Pine described his motivations for being a voice actor, "Cause they always looked like they were having the most fun." the comical faces he made in the voiceover booth, and his respect for science. Pine added, "If I had a movie like this when I was younger, I may have been more into it."
